We are hoping to raise awareness as to the importance of having safety & security film retrofitted to Florida homes and businesses alike. We will not tell you that safety & security film will make your home or business "hurricane-proof", there is no such thing in Florida. We will, however, tell you that the installation of safety & security film will greatly reduce the likelihood of damages caused by the breakage and failing of your homes windows such as; water damage from rain, interior wind damage due to openings, flying glass and debris. The safety & security film is installed to the interior faces of your windows and will contain glass fragments until after a storm when a window can be properly repaired.

Safety & security films are constructed of multiple layers of polyester material that produce a strong barrier against outside elements. We work with a product manufactured by Bekaert Specialty Films named Armorcoat, that utilizes Dupont-Mylar materials, which is one of the strongest and clearest films available. The films come in a wide variety of shades and come in either an 8 mil or 10 mil thickness. They have received A-1 certification, have passed Miami-Dade County small impact and cyclic pressure tests, and have passed all of the Southern Building Code Congress, Internationals tests. The films offer not only protection from storm damage, but also protect your home from nearly 100% of damaging ultraviolet rays. Also, the solar control versions can dramatically increase a property’s energy efficiency, reduce solar load, improves climate and diminishes glare and heat gain.
